Allo everyone,

I go by 0x69 ("zero-ex-sixty-nine").
I'm an avid electronics enthusiast.
I love hacking, programming (OO Please), mathematics, logic, anatomy, biology, music, and religion.
Tl;dr I like thinking.
I live in Michigan where I have I'm part of the state's MMP (Medical Marijuana Program) so I also dabble in agriculture.
If you want to talk to me over IM, ask me a question, or just talk, HMU over PM.

Love,
~ 0x69
There's lots of other people here that enjoy a variety of things too. Looking forward to seeing you in the various sections on the forum :)

Please note that the rules disallow any kind of hacking stuff on this forum, but anything that doesn't go against copyright or terms of use, is illegal, or is frowned upon otherwise should be okay here.

Cool username, I once thought of making my username to a BSOD stop code, but, I decided to keep things consistent so I wouldn't have a million different usernames on the forums and websites I frequent Laugh

Cheers
cheers

Just to make sure, are we saying that "hacking" or "cracking" is illegal?
I didn't know there were legal issues with adding LEDs to electronics, messing with hardware, and being curious.

Any "hacking" that is considered illegal depending on the action taken which can be considered "hacking" in any way haha.

For example:
- Hacking a tree (not illegal unless the law for that location, tree, or region says otherwise. Not really our concern though lol.)
- Hacking an online banking database (nope.)
- Hacking into your PS3 physically to mod it (This is okay. Only anything past that to pirated game files and such, no.)

As long as the topic is discussing something related to an illegal activity, or something that otherwise goes against a terms of use, or copyright for whatever it is that is in question, it's not allowed on this forum.

Otherwise, it should be okay. We like to keep it as broad as we can on this forum in terms of the information and content that can be found here, as long as it's not something that could potentially get us into trouble.

I hope that was an accurate enough way to explain it with more clarity. It is about 3AM in my timezone.

cheers

Its 5am here. ; n ;
I think a good rule would be, simply put, nothing incriminating.
Therefor, people can't post anything illegal, however, otherwise "shady" topics may be discussed.
Example, Cannabis is a schedule II controlled substance meaning it can be used for medicinal purposes, but no directionally.
No incriminating would allow those legal (country laws, state programs, science) to discuss a possibly-illegal activity, and disallow those who it would actually be illegal too.
Another example could be hunting.
Maybe you like to hunt geese (which is legal) but you don't want people discussing poaching (illegal).
Juts my $0.02 on how to legally strengthen the TOU (terms of use).
Yeah, we've had talk about certain stuff on this forum, but it's really variant on what the laws are depending on where you live, so things like that have been allowed. Although anything with illegal activities in the background in relation to those topics are not in relation to or endorsed by this forum, is kind of the way that has been. I don't really have much to talk about on the drugs side of things though as it's not really my thing. I'll engage into intellectual discussions about them, but any direct knowledge with them I can't really comment on, but it's also not my area of interest. I'm a programmer :)

I'm a logician/mathematician.
I have the mind-set of a programmer, but I apply it to everyday life.
I guess you could say I'm like the protagonist of numb3rs.
I was just simple stating an idea for legally strengthen the TOU because of loopholes.
Hackers have had charges dropped simply because a website said, "Please log in..." and the lawyer stated it was an invitation for them to attempt in any way possible.
Anyways, I'll PM you about it.
Welcome on the forum, 0x69!

It's nice to have members with such skills in electronics, programming and computer security. I hope you will enjoy your stay here.
