Hello guys here post you system + desktop picture (even your computer's pic) ill post mine once i get home (as i said in another post tomo or after tomo) I dunno if this is the right place or even if these kind of threads are allowed in this forum :s but ill just do it ^^
Ill post my rig tho
CPU - Intel i7 860 2.80Ghz
RAM - 6 GB (Planning on upgrading to 16 GB)
GPU - GTX 480
HDD - 2x500 GB = 1TB
Water Cooling
you beat me with your processor, and water cooling was something i've checked into for a while. Thought it was interesting.

And if you don't have a 32 bit machine, the most you could go is 4GB for RAM, but you have 6 so you either have a 64 bit machine, or you're running on Windows Server.

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit)
RAM: 8GB (4 - 2GB slots)
HDD: (1) - 750GB, and (1) - 1TB External
Processor: AMD Phenom Quad core X4 9850 (I'm not a big gamer, and it's been sufficient for my computer use so far)

Extras:
-Blu-Ray/DVD Burner & Players
-Media packet drive (never used it)
-Memory card slots (SD/Mini/MMC/RS/Plus/Mobile/Smart Media/xD)
-Built in Wifi Adapter, and TV Tuner
-USB 3.0
-Audio/Video/HD inputs

There's a fair bit of custom stuff done on this one, but mostly just in upgrades..
Aaah awesome thread xD

My primary "workstation" is on a laptop and it looks like this:

Intel® Core™ i7-720QM (1.6 GHz , 4 cores, 8 threads)
4GB 1333MHz RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4650 (1GB graphics)
500GB drive
Blueray
720lines (HD) webcam.

I also have a backlit keyboard which is SUCH an underestimated feature in my opinion. Other than that just standard with bluetooth, wifi, hdmi, all that poop.
I'm considering adding an SSD drive to have the OS on, as the harddrive is really the bottleneck of this system. Other than that it runs perfectly.
MY Processor : Intel II (500 MB, 50 Bit Cache)
HDD : 128 MB Maxtor
Operating System : MS DOS
RAM: 64 MB
Webcam : Ha? What's that!

Extras :
1 Floppy Disk Driver "Wow!"
1 Radio Cassette Recorder "Hot!"
1 Power Off Button "No More Pulling Cable Off to Shutdown!!"
14" Screen "Very Wide Screen!"

Picture of my computer

I think i just beat you all with all your fancy i7 CPU's with my super modern computer

Illuminated keyboards are great, I forgot to mention mine lol. But it does help. You can work on your computer at any time of day, and the amount of light on your keyboard doesn't matter. I was fine just feeling around for those 'bumps' on the j and f keys but this is a ton better.
