Useful IRC Commands:

Registering a Nickname: You must register your nickname in order to make the most of your IRC experience. If you want to apply for an IRC channel moderator position, you must have registered your nickname.

/nickserv register PASSWORD EMAIL

Identifying Yourself: This command will show you how to sign in to your registered nickname. You must identify yourself so the server will recognize you as the rightful owner of that nickname. This is to prevent anyone trying to spoof someone elses nickname or anyone from gaining Op from a nickname that has those permissions on the channel.

/nickserv identify PASSWORD
