Time clock application
If anyone is looking for a project to take on.. I have one that someone might want to try their hand at.

I am fully capable of doing it myself so please save the "why can't you just code this your self" talk. I am just throwing the idea out there for anyone that gets bored and needs a project to work on.

Requirements:
  • I need to keep track of one weeks worth of time. Monday thru Friday.
  • It must save for the week with the option of erasing the data.
  • It must provide functionality to allow multiple times per day (ex. 6am-10pm and 1pm-5pm)
  • It must calculate the total hours per day as well as calculate the number of hours completed so far during the week.
Any language is suitable.
If someone wants to take on this challenge but fears they are not at that level of programming yet then that's ok. I will provide any support to whoever needs it so long as it's coded in C#, VB.Net, or PHP.

RE: Time clock application
Time clock application? Kind of like my fast notification manager? Or more of a sticky note application for the week, like a weekly calendar?

Just a simple app to keep track and calculate hours (by day) worked for a week.

Ahh, like a log for number of hours worked per week so you can sum it up and get your paycheck for a quote? lol

That's pretty simple, I'd say maybe a 15 minute project for someone?

RE: Time clock application
Yeah not long. I was thinking about making it at work when I got side tracked. Then I figured people are always looking for ideas. If nobody wants to take this on I will probably develop something simple in C# and share it.

I could attempt in C++, I'm working on a new interface, although i'm sure it's a bit more advanced than needed for an application like this haha. All the controls you'd ever need and 10 times more.
