"How to install Linux" Video ?
What would you guys think if I made a video on how to install linux on your machine? I know most people here know how, but I thought it might benefit?

RE: "How to install Linux" Video ?
Anything is beneficial here, I don't have very much knowledge on Linux at all, period, but with Windows, that's a different story for me. I can appreciate Linux for what it is, but I just never found interest in it, so I know i'll never go far with it.

Lots of people like it though, and I think no matter how basic it is, it should surely help someone out. Especially the prep process for even thinking about installing Linux on your hard drive. For example if you want to dual boot.

It is easy, as long as you understand the principle on how Booting works. And some (at least) background knowledge on partitions, formatting, filesystems, and volumes, while being able to differentiate between each.

Pred, if you made a dual boot video I'd love you. I know how to install Linux but not how to dual boot. I ran Linux for a good 3-5 months before going back to windows, if it wasn't for wanting to bridge, I would've never gone back.

RE: "How to install Linux" Video ?
As KoBE said, where is the Video... x)

People who say dual-booting is hard, are those who keep system files and important files on the same partition, and then getting headache when they screw it up and need to back up files... :D

With most Distributions, it's pretty straight forward, next, next, next, skip, next, finish, login, WOW...
However, a video on setting up a Arch environment would be a good thing....
