RE: Create your own IRC Client [C#/VB.Net]
Well I came here hoping to see the source files on how to make this and to be honest I have been looking for a good example for years but I can only find a console version and not a nice gui one like this.

And while i would love to try to get the 50 post cont to get the source files but I truly don't think that I could post enough information to be worthwile ot anyone on these forums.

So I guess I will just have to keep going to google to help me out.

I mean usually just registering on the forums is enough to download an attachment.

If your worried about bandwidth host it on google code or any one of the thousands of free file share hosting websites.

Not really bandwidth, but more of a register, login for 2 seconds, download and leave the forum kind of situation. If you're really interested in this download, since you were nice enough to not go ahead and spam and put things into perspective here nicely, I could accomodate you if you wanted. PM me back and i'll provide you a download link. Sometimes people are nice enough to help others out with downloads if you just ask

As Ace stated, bandwith isn't the issue, it's more a matter of helping out a growing site. If people only downloaded and left, then what'd be the point of having a forum? We could simply start a blog and be done. Here at TLF we are more about helping people than giving out code and recieving credit. I'm glad you found this via google, and since it's unique I'd hope more people find us via google.

Instead of going back to google and continueing your quest of finding examples, if you stuck around here for a few weeks you could turn years of searching into the knowledge of creating one yourself.

lol Laugh yes, we didn't start a site like MegaUpload or MediaFire, we started a forum.
