The course length is about 12 weeks with 1-2 hours of homework per week minimum (as a recommended amount of time to set aside). 80% of those who have signed up dropped out before even reaching the halfway point, just due to lack of commitment to the course itself. I would be happy to sign you up, but I need to confirm that you have the time to do the required homework, otherwise it's a waste of both of our time.

Is it easy to switch from vb.net to c#?

If you've developed good practices in C# then it's fairly similar with the exception that C# doesn't have static locals like VB.NET has, but you can simulate that, and C# has unsafe pointers whereas VB.NET does not. It's not quite a direct transition, the switch statement is a select statement in VB.NET as well, but it shouldn't be too hard to transition after a couple weeks or so of playing in C#.
