BSOD | Crash Dump Gone?
Well I got a BSOD while trying to connect to an open wireless connection, and it dumped, then my PC froze. I was going to post the dump here to ask for help as to why it happened, but I can't find the dump? Any ideas?

You don't have Minidumps enabled do you?....

Try C:\Windows\MEMORY.dmp then for the full dump. Otherwise, recrash the system, after enabling small memory dumps.

It is interesting that it froze.

If I may suggest something, in the mean time, run check disk on your hard drive and maybe look for the latest wireless drivers.

It may help and it may not.

But your certainly need to make sure, as Ace advised, that the mini dumps are enabled.

EDIT: Actually everyone that is reading should make sure that they have mini dumps enabled. As it is the best way to get help if your PC Blue screens.

Ace, after looking for that big dump, I found the Minidump. :P

But now, each time I try to open the Minidump in Notepad, is says "Access denied"? No clue why this is happening, lol. Also, I don't think this is a problem with my wireless drivers, because it only happened that once, connecting to the one wireless network called "kocher".

You don't open dump files in notepad, what are you trying to do there? Confused

You debug them. And before you can actually do anything with the file you have to send it to your desktop or copy to some other easy location, then upload that file for us to review.

Oh, I see. Okay when I get home I'll update the OP with the Minidump. I'm not on my laptop right now.

Okay, well apparently I do not have permissions to upload it. -_-

Any suggestions?

I did, I try uploading to mediafire, multiupload, dropbox and even as an attachment here. It just says I don't have the correct permissions.

Are you still trying to upload the dump file from your C:\Windows directories?
