Little about HMM v2.0

HMM, from i3c, is a financial desktop tool that allows you to track your income, expenses, loans, debts.
generate reports of all your financial data.
you can export financial data directly to a .csv or .doc file.
This version of HMM designed for every level of customer, from the simple home
user to the small business owner.
also a connection to the Internet is required.

its been a while that we continue on this project
so i open it again and hope i finish it soon.

this is the newest splashscreen:

Nice work. It looks like you (and your team?) have put a lot of work into this.

I know this doesn't have anything to do with the program itself, or perhaps partially, but I think you should be "modernizing" your images to attract more interest. Right now it almost seems like an app that was created in the 90's lol. Better graphics will attract more downloaders.

RE: HMM v2.0
I would suggest making connection to the internet NOT required. I don't think a finance app should require internet.

100% correct, what if you didn't have connectivity at the time? Would you be required to write information down on a piece of paper until you could get your internet connection back? Seems a bit inconvenient.

RE: HMM v2.0
I'll show you an example of a more "modern" look/style (aside from the new Modern Design Style adopted by Microsoft):

As I said though, a new "look" would improve the interest level to your application from others.. If you are going to use lots of visual stuff in your application, like you have chosen to do, then you're going to have to make sure it looks nice, otherwise I would just leave them out because they can do more damage than good. The images, especially in the amounts you have used, can either make or break the first impression.

They shape the face of your application either way, whether it's for better or worse. I would say it's not doing too well though.. Just my opinion.

Ok, well then I would change this line since it's a bit misleading:
Quote:also a connection to the Internet is required.
