Yellow / Blue stars?
What is the difference between yellow and blue stars? I have 3 yellow stars.. I've seen others having blue stars, and some have purple etc..

Which is superior?

RE: Yellow / Blue stars?
None are really 'superior'. The yellow stars are for all members and show the number of posts you have. As you post more, the number of stars will increase. Purple stars are moderator stars. Blue stars apply to numerous groups, one example being the TLF Coders group.

The way I've set it up, is just to match the group you are in for the most part, that's it.

RE: Yellow / Blue stars?
Isn't it green? I forgot... As you can see though, as more users in various groups post... Mine is a dull purple, KoBE's is blue, Predator's is purple, and they all reflect the colors of their particular usergroup as well as the userbar.

Thus I guess it can be categorized as a rank thing, but it's really just for the purpose of being artistically consistent.

I think your system works great, no one feels superior, no one feels inferior. It's the way forums should be - friendly NormalSmile

Crystalli, the yellow star came from the VB school group you're in. I think we forgot to switch it over when we switched themes. I changed it, so you should be blue now.
