Apple IOS 7?
Okay, so I seen news about IOS 7 today... What the heck is up with that? It looks like they copied the simplistic look that Microsoft adopted for Windows 8...

Apple copying Microsoft now? Unsure I must say that this is the lamest point in history for innovative designs. Is there no creativity anymore?

They'd better add a lot to make up for this very crappy looking UI. Microsoft did it better... It took me some getting used to, but Apple failed trying to re-produce this look.

Wow, honestly it look like they are stuck in the middle of wanting to look Metro and sticking with their rouned edge look. Some screens look like they went overboard trying to look like Win8, and some still have some rounded features.

Definitely a copy though wouldn't you say? So my question is why... lol, it makes no sense. Perhaps Apple is seeing Microsoft as a threat, or at least paying close attention to them.

It definitely looks like they are copying them. Which I also think is dumb, because I thought the majority of iOS users liked the difference that it brought to the table.

I actually like it, but you're right that it did copy and base its designs on modern UI

Another thing I thought of is that it would be interesting to see how many Apple fanboys "love" this new look--or some of the same people that have criticized the Windows 8 design style previously. It would be a good measurement of how many people were just bashing the Windows 8 look because it's Microsoft, and not that they actually just didn't like the look.

Uhh, no, it wouldn't. Most people who criticized the Modern UI did so based on the desktop experience. It's an entirely different thing to experience a mobile OS UI on a 4" touch device than on a 24" monitor using a keyboard and mouse. I love iOS 7, and I thought Modern UI was fine, just misplaced on a desktop OS. I've never used a touch device, be it a phone or a tablet, running Windows 8, so I can't comment on its usability there, but I would assume it to be just fine.

Frankly, I'm bewildered as to why even have an Apple forum on this site, when 4 out of 5 posts dump on Apple products, regurgitating the same things over and over.
