RE: DotNet Patcher (Merger, Packer, Obfuscator, Icon changer,..)
Wars happen on forums, just like they do in real life. Contributing factors like disagreement's based on differing opinions or someone having a bad day is irrelevant. What should be noted here is that it happens, I don't care if you are Oprah Winfrey, or the President, everybody has an off day, and everyone has bad days, everyone gets annoyed with another person too once in a while.

I'm only trying to keep things under control in the event that these things happen. It's not a big deal otherwise, I'm not going to say for you both to grow up because being a "grown up" man/woman is also irrelevant here. Things happen.

Just as a reminder, try to be respectful otherwise. You can point stuff out, but do it in a nice way :). I get annoyed with some members every now and then too, but it doesn't help if you go off on a tangent and start calling them an idiot or whatever... And unfortunately I know this from experiences.

Thanks for understanding.
cheers

Good stuf were added to this release :) Thanks :)
I updated my ""deobfuscator"" but I still can't decrypt strings, so it means that you did a pretty good job :)

Quick edit : Why don't you use string obfuscation ? I mean, your executable file is protected with a string encryption. Could be interesting, isn't ? ^^

I don't use string encryption because with efficient effort it can be easily reverse !
And if you use unreadable chars it can be too.
BTW thx for apprecation.

Obfuscation in general can be reversed, but the point of obfuscation is to make things as hard as possible, so I would say why not? They would have to figure out the encryption algorithm and derive a decryption algorithm for the strings. Even attempting to protect strings can make lots of the other obfuscated code hard to "guess" though, so I would agree with Xenocode.

Finally an almost-fully cleaned file : http://puu.sh/3mIXq.png

I have to fix some problem with non-normal letters like : é & è

Plus I have to remove the garbage of useless classes, but I think it's the theme so ^^"

I do not understand why you insist to decompile my app. I say "congratulations", you did it!
I just remind you that it's not a reverse competition topic ....

(I will delete the obfuscator module from my app and update it for my personal use.)
if you would like to know how my app work to update yours just ask me.

Maybe it's not a reverse competition topic but it's a part of the game ^^ people don't blame 0xd4d when he is able to deobfuscate some obfuscator ^^

I done somethings wrong ? What?
Well if you stop here, it's not a problem, I don't bother ^^
Was a good game Happy1

But if you delet the obfuscator module, it won't be a "good" application (subjectif, isn't ?) because the thread's tittle is :
DotNet Patcher (Merger, Packer, Obfuscator, Icon changer,..)
Merger -> Using IL Merge (open-source tool)
Packer -> USing RPX (open-source tool)
Icon changer -> Using shared snippet

Perhaps not.. But there's no reason to get defensive or fire back with sarcasm. I say take it with a grain of salt and perhaps see what you could do to improve it.

Why remove modules from this program all of a sudden?

cheers

Perhaps ...But 0xd4d doesn't harass me by MP to tell me that you're Obfuscator is better than mine..... If yours is better then you have to post it ......What's wrong with you ?? !!

you forgot to mention that I use the API functions to modify the level of execution privilege and I also use Mono Cecil to detect obfuscators and packer....but all details that users need to know about the app are in the first topic.

Due to my first answer above ! But you're right I'll keep it.
