Freebie Programmers Font
Just discovered Liberation Mono :). I still use PragmataPro wherever I have it installed, but Liberation Mono is a nice free alternative to the paid PragmataPro font (unless you opt for the free version of pragmata).

I used to just use Consolas wherever I didn't have my own fonts installed... Or Lucida Console.

Not bad. I think I still prefer PragmataPro as well, but this is alright.

The best thing about the paid version of pragmatapro is that just like Consolas, it supports much more than just the basic character set. I thought I remember trying Droid Sans but the issue I had with it over other fonts was that it lacked a few characters.

Are you sure about Droid Sans Mono lacking glyphs? On the google font page, it displays all the ones I can think of without issue...

Yes, many other unicode characters similar to that '¬' for sure. PragmataPro has many more than the grid on that google page.
